Shine the light on your impressive market research, critical thinking and interpersonal skills, as you plan and execute market research projects both for Mumpower and for our high profile clients. In this newly created and hands-on role, the Market Research Associate will work closely with the Client Operations and Marketing Executive and Managing Director.

Ultimately, this role requires excellent analytical skills, out of the box thinking and superior communication skills and suits someone who thrives in an environment where your contribution is valued and impactful!

This is a part time role. Approx 12-18 hours p/w.

This superstar will be responsible for:

  • Meeting with stakeholders to agree project scope and timeline
  • Managing project budgets
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative research, such as surveys, interviews, focus groups and observations
  • Organising, managing and storing data and information
  • Analysing data and interpreting patterns
  • Writing reports and presenting data-driven results
  • Consulting with stakeholders on how to best utilise the findings
  • Briefing and coordinating research teams
  • Writing and managing the distribution of surveys
  • OPTIONAL: For those looking for a broader/full time marketing role, there is the opportunity to contribute to other marketing projects including Social Media Marketing and shape this role to best match your interests. Learn more about these tasks here.

Perfect fit if you have:

  • Passion for marketing and market research
  • Knowledge of and experience with different qualitative & quantitative research methodologies
  • Strong interpretive and analytical skills, with high attention to detail
  • Represented similar clients to Mumpower, OR worked in an agency
  • Excellent communication, relationship building and project management skills
  • Sound knowledge of Market Research tools
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Able to coordinate multiple projects, simultaneously
  • Can demonstrate you’re accountable, adaptable and open to trying new things
  • Ability and keenness to follow systems and processes
  • Confident in a client facing role
  • Prefer a small team that allows your talents to shine
  • Content with hybrid work from home/in office model
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or majors in either Marketing, Commerce, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related discipline

Bonus points (not essential):

  • Previously worked for a small business or agency
  • Bold enough to challenge the status quo and push new ideas forward
