market research Australian Mum via webinar

This month, we are excited to introduce you to Reina Adachi, our fabulous Marketing Assistant. Read on to get to know her and her approach to building relationships and the most interesting project she’s worked on at Mumpower and more.

1. How long have you been part of the Mumpower family?

Almost a year now- the time has flown by!

2. What’s been the most surprising part about working at Mumpower?

How much I’ve learned and experienced. Mumpower is known as a ‘Marketing Agency’ however, it is really so much more than that. Whilst we do influencer marketing, we also do Events, UGC, Product Reviews/Trials, Market Research and even have our own podcast (Mastering the Mum Market- check it out)! I always have an exciting project I am working on, and nothing ever gets boring because of our diverse range of offerings.

3. Describe the culture.

The culture at Mumpower is incredible- I would describe it to be ‘full of love’. The team genuinely cares about each other and our clients. We value relationships and always want the best for everyone- because of this, the team is so supportive and goes above and beyond to help with anything they can.

4. What’s been the most interesting project or task you have been exposed to?

Definitely the Bloggers Brunch! There are so many things that go on behind the scenes in preparation for the event. Can you believe we start working on the Bloggers Brunch in full force 4 months in advance – not to mention some bits and pieces happen even earlier than that?!

Seeing all the preparation come to life on the day is the best part.

5. At Mumpower, our ethos and value system is built around nurturing strong relationships with brands, with Influencers, with Mum Shoppers, with each other.  What is your approach to building relationships?

As simple as it may sound, my approach to building relationships is to be kind and understanding. Being kind makes you more approachable and allows for open communication. It is super important to listen to brands, influencers, and Mum shoppers as it allows you to connect on a deeper level and truly understand them.

6. Since working at Mumpower which brand/product have you got to know more that you had no idea the impact they make to improving #MumLife?

CleanLIFE wipes are the best! Not only are they eco-friendly, but the quality is impeccable. Wipes have to be one of the best inventions, I have their packs everywhere… kitchen, bathroom, car, handbag, you name it.

7. Describe your job in three words.

Versatile, Collaborative, Always learning (Sorry, that’s 4 words!).

8. What would people be surprised to know about you?

I am super clumsy and will trip over anything! I have definitely stacked it a few times in Pilates.

9. What is the best meal you’ve ever had?

Sushi is my favourite food, I seriously can’t go a week without it so I would definitely say the sushi in Japan… it doesn’t get any better than that!

10. What is 1 crazy thing you want to have the courage to do over the next 10 years?

To go on a solo trip overseas. Whilst I like to think I’m a pretty independent person, exploring a foreign country on my own would take a lot of courage. I’m not exactly sure where I’d go but preferably somewhere where people don’t speak English… just for an extra challenge! Oh and while I’m there, I’d love to have the courage to go sky diving!

11. What is the best thing about working with a Mum-centric company?

Not being a Mum myself, everyday I am enlightened of what it means to be a Mum… the good and bad 😉. I recently moved out of my family home and the team always have the best #mumhacks, recipes and life advice. It’s super helpful!

12. What hashtags best describe you?

#laughter #foodie #family #genz
